Cosmetic Ear Surgery (Otoplasty, from oto - ear, and plasty – to shape or mold)

Otoplasty is mainly used in reference to prominent (protruding) ears, although there are many other types of deformities, each with its own specific treatment. For prominent ears in particular, the surgery is performed by means of an incision made behind the ear, such that there is virtually no visible scar.

Buccal Fat Pad Removal (Cheek Slimming)

A Buccal Fat Pad (also called Bichat’s fat pad and Bichat’s fat ball) is an encapsulated mass of fat in the cheek, not simply fat stored beneath the skin. However some doctors, risk removing it through liposuction, which we will never do.

Buccal fat pads are golf-ball-sized masses of fat; their removal is very simple, and is done by means of a small 2-3 cm. (¾ - 1¼ in) incision on the inside of the cheek.
