Surgery can last up to 1.5 hours, and requires one day of hospitalization. The patient will be released with the treated area bandaged; bandages must be kept in place until the first follow-up visit, when the patient will be given a special bra that will provide support |

Recovery time is approximately two weeks; some rest is indicated, along with certain restrictions, such as no strenuous activity and no heavy lifting. Patient may be allowed to drive a vehicle after three weeks, although there will still be some restrictions to physical activity.
